Meyer, Beverly J. (nee Graczak),

June 6, 1937 - November 13, 2024

Fortified with the Sacraments of the Holy Mother Church, Wednesday, November 13th 2024  at 87 years old.  Beloved wife of the late Michael Meyer Sr. for 59 years, dear mother of Michael Jr. (Michele), Jackie Meyer, Ralph Fredrick (Shelley), Linda Spahic (Asim), the late Michele Meyer, the late Judy Bergin (Patrick). Dear grandmother of Michael (Sarah), Marjie Lewis (Jeremy), Mitchell, Matthew Meyer, Patrick Bergin (Laura), Nicholas Bergin, Julie Bergsieker (Phil), Austin, Ruth Meyer and Benjamin Spahic, great grandmother of Madison, Blake, Mackenzie Lewis, Bo Meyer, James, Oliver, Leo, Charles and Jack Bergin, Miles, Emma and Theo Bergsieker. Dear sister of Marcia Werkmeister (Jim),  and Ralph Graczak (Brenda), dear sister-in-law, aunt, friend to many.

Beverly was born and raised in St. Louis MO and spent the last several years of her life residing in Sunset Hills MO. From the late 60’s through the early 2000’s, Beverly, alongside her husband, was owner of Lansdowne IGA, Creve Coeur IGA, Fresh ‘n Counter, and Meyer’s Deli. Beverly was kind hearted and never knew a stranger. She was sure to always make everyone feel welcomed and included. Her laugh was hearty and unforgettable.

Visitation is Friday, November 22, 4:00pm-9:00pm at Kutis Funeral Home , Affton. 10151 Gravois, St. Louis, MO 63123.

Funeral will be held Saturday, November 23, 9:30am at Holy Infant Church, 627 Dennison Dr. Ballwin, MO 63021. Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery, Affton, MO.

In lieu of flowers, donations are gratefully appreciated in memory of Beverly J. Meyer to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

  1. So sad to hear of Beverly’s passing. I will not be able to attend the services but I will gladly donate to St. Judes Hospital to honor her wish. She was such a beautiful and caring lady. Condolences to all her family.

  2. Much love to the Meyer family. Aunt Bev was a sweet soul that always brought joy to me in every encounter I ever had with her. She will be missed, but honored by those who love her.
