Gilbert H. Meyer, was born on August 13, 1933 in St. Louis, MO to Arthur and Lillian (nee Holtz) Meyer and entered into rest on Sunday, December 15 at the age of 91.
Loving husband of 65 years to the late Gloria (nee Van Cleave) Meyer. Dear father of Steven (Betty) Meyer, and Sharon (Shawn) Sherrill, and the late Ann Duffe. Brother of Carl (Nancy) Meyer, Brother-in-law of Diane Klingerman. Dear grandpa of Josh (Cindy) Meyer, Phil (Lyndsay) Duffe, Bradley (Sandra) Sherrill, Jacob Sherrill, Sydney Meyer, and Savannah Meyer. Great grandpa of Addison, Emmylou, Ava Meyer, Tyler, Luke, Drew Duffe, Emmy Sherrill, and the late Owen Sherrill. Dear uncle, cousin, and friend.
Gilbert loved to work in his garden and BBQ on his grill. He was an enthusiastic St. Louis Cardinal fan, and most of all enjoyed time with his family.
SERVICES: a VISITATION will be held on Thursday, December 19 from 4-8 pm at the Kutis South County Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd. FUNERAL SERVICE on Friday, December 20 at 9 am. Burial at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
