Patricia (Patty) Meyerricks, 75, of Fenton, MO passed away on August 26,2026. Patty was born to Dennis and Virginia O’Connell on August 2, 1951. She grew up in St. Louis and attended St. Catherine of Sienna grade school and Normandy High School.
After High School, Patty worked at International Shoe Company and finished her career as a tax examiner aid with the IRS. She married Ron Meyerricks on September 26, 1970. Together they raised two children.
Patty will be remembered for her faith, her love of her Irish heritage, and her immeasurable love for her family. She was resilient, kind, tenacious, determined, and loved gardening, music and animals. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister/family member whose love and devotion shaped the lives around her. She leaves behind a family who will forever carry her love, strength, and gentle spirit.
She is preceded in death by her parents Dennis and Virginia and her son Hugh. She is survived by her daughter Kerry (John) DaVault, grandchildren Audrey and Cole, her brothers Denny (Cindy) O’Connell, Tommy O’Connell, her sisters Maureen Wirts, Kathy O’Connell, Joan O’Connell, nieces, nephew, cousins and friends.
The family would like to thank Patty’s Siteman Care Team, Delmar Garden South Caregivers, and BJC Hospice for their compassion, support and loving care.

Visitation at Kutis Affton Chapel, 10151 Gravois, St. Louis, MO 63123, on Friday, August 28, 6-8:00 PM with funeral service on Saturday, August 29, at 10:00 AM. Interment Calvary Cemetery.
