Bud was a veteran, family man, retired welder, and a member (and former deacon) of Parkton Assembly of God. He liked to fix things, go fishing, attend car shows, had a wonderful sense of humor, and enjoyed his full and long life. He always had a smile on his face and loved helping friends and family.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Jefferson County Pet Food Pantry are appreciated. Bud helped his daughter Debby build the pet food pantry and was a proud supporter.
Jim Mikles was a honorable man. He was a great friend and support to me.
Bro Mikles was always so sweet and kind at church. Him and Sis Peggy were always helping where ever they could. I will miss getting my hand shake and a how you doing very Sunday from him, he will be greatly missed.
Bud was such a good sweet neighbor. My grandparents lived across the street from him & Peggy for years and I bought my grandparents house & he was always helping us and checking in on us. My favorite memory I have with him is him & Peggy taking me to their church when I was little so I could learn about god. He’s definitely one of a kind ♥️🙏🏼
We at Calvary Tabernacle want to send our heartfelt condolences to the family and friends. He and his wife were neighbor’s to the Church. He and his wife were great friends to our late Pastors Carl and Opal Benson. Our Pastor’s Jeff and Tammy Reed and Church family we keep you all in our prayers. that God will give you peace comfort and love at this time. Bro Jim always kept a well cut lawn and he helped for many years maintaining the Churches lawn too.
Bud was a sweetheart and will be missed dearly. We never saw him without a big smile on his face. Our hearts go out to Sheila, George, and Debby. Our deepest condolences and may God hold you close during this difficult time.
I met Mr. Mikles from his daughter Debby.
He was so very supportive of the Jeff Co Per Food Pantry, where she is the Director. Such a kind, caring, good man. And a wonderful father to Sheila also ….He will be sorely missed.
