Being one of George’s nurses at the cancer center was an absolute honor. His smile would always warm our hearts. He was an incredible human and will be missed greatly.
Thank you so much for taking the time to pay tribute to my dad. You all were always so great to him and managed to make him smile even though he would rather have been just about anywhere else.
I am so sad to hear of this. Such a wonderful warrior. I cared for him and never would he say or share he wasn’t feeling good—always a smile and full of love for all. Prayers to his children who provided outstanding support. George will be missed by so many of us here, and I am comforted as I know he is resting easy in a much better place.
I am so very sad to see this. What a warrior this man was. I cared for him and never did he report any pain or discomfort. Always kept a smile on his face and was so very patient through all of his treatments. His children provided such a strong support system. This man will be missed by many. I am comforted knowing he is enjoying a peaceful, well deserved rest. Great man..
Thank you for all of the kind words Kerrie. Dad was always in the best care and doted on by you and the rest of the crew there. Thanks for always making his time there brighter.
George Porgie you will be definitely missed by me and many others. You was always so sweet and always had a smile. It was a pleasure that God put us both in the path to meet. You will definitely be missed. One of my favorite patients, Fly high Georgie Porgie no more suffering. Hugs!

Thank you Nora for sending your condolences. Dad and the rest of us always loved hearing you yell “Georgy Porgy” at dad across the room. I’m not sure he would have let anyone else get away with that. Thanks for caring for him and always making his day better
