Robert “Bob” G. Miller  Monday, November 4, 2024.  Beloved husband of the late Judith A. Miller; dear father of Robert Scott (Mary) Miller, Monica (Andy) Veal and Eric (Donna) Miller; dear poppy of Alexandra (Kyle) Chestnas, Matthew, Emma Miller, Andrew (Taylor) and Robert Veal, Richard (Amanda) Liable and Joshua Fowler; great poppy of Jude, Shep, Wesley, Emily and Jaden; longtime companion of Susan Sherman; dear brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend.

Bob proudly served in the United States Marine Corps.  His career was with the IBEW as a journeyman wireman, business representative and business manager.  Bob served on the Board of Directors Electricians Building Corp. and Electrical Workers Local 1 voluntary fund, co-chairman IBEW-NECA Labor Management, IBEW / NECA National Local 1 joint apprenticeship and training committee, Board of Directors St. Louis Electrical Board, President St. Louis Building & Construction Trades Council, Vice President St. Louis Labor Council, Missouri State Electrical Conference and Missouri AFL-CIO, “Decision Council” of the “Construction Industry Coalition”.  Bob also served on the Board of Directors Girl Scout Council of Greater St. Louis, St. Louis Chapter American Red Cross, Focus St. Louis (Regional Community Action Committee), Executive Board of “PRIDE” (St. Louis Construction Industry Labor Management Organization).

Funeral at Kutis South County Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Road Wednesday, November 13, 2024, 10:30am.  Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.  Visitation Tuesday 4-9pm.

  2. Very to hear of Bob’s passing, He was a great Labor Leader who I had the pleasure of working with for many years during contract negotiations with Anheuser Busch Brewery. My sympathy to Bob’s family in this sorrowful time.

  3. R. I. P. Bob. I knew you for my entire career in the IBEW, since 1968. Thank you for so many years with the IBEW in so many capacities and for the many conversations we had over the years. You are respected in so many ways not the least as a Husband, Father and friend to so many.

  4. Our hearts are broken. Bobby was a special member of the Miller family and Butch and I are so grateful for the opportunity to get to know him later in life as adults. Time with him at last year’s reunion in Erwin was a gift we will always cherish.
