Dawn Micheala (nee Gish) Milner Life Tribute

Dawn Gish Milner was born on August 25,1966 in St. Louis, Mo and joyfully lived there her entire life. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on Dec 28, 2023. Her life was challenged by lifelong health issues such as severe psoriasis from age 16 till her death. In 2016, she was diagnosed with an aggressive breast cancer which eventually ended her life.

Dawn is survived by her mother, Jackie (nee Grisso) Gish & multiple aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends. She was proceeded in death by her father Brooklyn Earl Gish, Jr and her beloved brother Brooklyn Earl Gish, III.

Dawn attended Roosevelt High School in St. Louis. She then had a long career as office manager in the telemarketing firm, Pragmatic. She married and divorced Van Milner a number of years ago.

Dawn’s passion was animals. She helped with numerous rescues and found much joy in this endeavor.

Dawn and her mother, Jackie, are grateful for the care she received at Siteman Cancer Center and Barnes Jewish Hospital.

Dawn will have a celebration of life service at the Kutis Funeral Home, 2906 Gravois Avenue, St. Louis, MO. Family visitation will be at 1pm and service at 2 pm on this Saturday, Dec. 30, 2023.

She will be missed by family and friends.
