In Loving Memory

Mirly, Bradley Neal

July 24, 1964 - January 8, 2026

Mirly, Bradley Neal

Asleep in Jesus on Thursday, January 8th, 2026.

Beloved son of Leonard and Dorothea Mirly (nee Arbeiter); loving brother of Vickie (John) Auer, Kathy (Gary) Hotz, Scott (Nancy) Mirly, and Todd (Susan) Mirly; cherished uncle of Michelle (Peter) Waters, Taryn Hotz, Tori (Trent) Morledge, Zak Mirly, Cody (Katelyn) Mirly, Caleb (Kalin) Mirly, Kate (Sam) Lohman, and Abby (Jacob) Reuter; adoring great uncle of Tatum Morledge, Cutler Mirly, Colton Mirly, Lane Mirly, and Chase Mirly; our dear cousin and friend.

Brad was born on July 24, 1964, in Jacob, Illinois.  He became a child of God in baptism on August 9, 1964 and later confirmed his baptismal faith on May 21, 1978.  He graduated from Lutheran High School South in 1982 and Ranken Technical Institute in November 1984 with a degree in Automotive Technology.  He worked as an auto mechanic and spent most of his career at Plaza Motors.

Brad loved working on cars, tractors, motorcycles, four wheelers and anything mechanical.  He could never resist keeping anything in stock condition and would put his extra special touch into upgrades for his projects.  He loved having toys for his nephews and nieces to ride and found great enjoyment and fulfillment in that.

In lieu of flowers, contributions made to the American Diabetes Association are appreciated.

SERVICES: Visitation at The Lutheran Church of Webster Gardens (8749 Watson Rd., 63119) on Wednesday, January 14th, 12:00 – 1:00 PM, with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 PM. Interment at Park Lawn Cemetery.

  1. I’m so sorry for your loss. Bad was a great man, and I always enjoyed seeing him when he came into Erb Equipment to get his John Deere parts. He always had a story to tell and could put a smile on your face. He will truly be missed.
