Edward Mitchell (Do not crop)

In Loving Memory

Mitchell, Edward L.

October 2, 1962 - February 12, 2025

Suddenly passed February 12, 2025, into the loving arms of Jesus.  Loving husband of Wanda Mitchell (Konsewicz) for 37 wonderful years.  Adored father of Heather Mitchell and Holly Mitchell (Bryan).  Loving brother of D’Anna (Dennis) Mitchell and Cathy (Kraig) Kays.  Cherished brother-in-law of Rich Konsewicz, Ed (Jenn) Konsewicz Sr. and Leonard Konsewicz.  Loving uncle to Steven and Christopher (Cindy) Kays, Eddie Konsewicz Jr., Angie (Hannu) Turri, Austin and Frank (Jordan) Konsewicz.  Great uncle to Kylie, Drew, Jordynne, Ryan, Sean, Brody and Max.  Loving son of the late Arthur and Betty Mitchell (Gotch).  Loving son-in-law of the late Tadeusz “Ted” and Josephine Konsewicz.  Dear cousin and friend to many.  Leaves behind his loyal and trusted dog Buddy and grand dogs, Lola, Ari, Waylon and Maverick, grand cats Tokin and Rudy.  Ed loved his family and friends fiercely and loyally and would do anything to help, there was no job too big or small.  He truly had a heart made of gold.  He was a fighter and a warrior and overcame so many obstacles in his life.  Ed loved the farm, fishing, hunting, travel and teaching his girls all the life lessons he learned and how to be strong and fight for what they wanted.  “Nothing’s free or guaranteed” in life.  He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him!

  5. I could always count on Uncle Ed to be there with a quick joke or a trick up his sleeve. I can hardly think about a memory of him, without feeling the smile creep up on my face. He brought our family so much laughter!

Maybe in life there is no greater legacy than to leave a trail of joy and laughter in your path?

I am forever grateful for the joy, love, and laughter my uncle brought me and I have no words to describe my sincerest wish for strength and comfort during this impossibly hard time for Wanda Heather and Holly.

  6. Ed was a great neighbor! Always out enjoying his patio, and taking care to make sure his house and yard were looking good. I always enjoyed a chat with Ed, where we bonded over the joy of having two daughters and I would often gain insight about how to raise two girls. I’ll miss you Ed!

My condolences to all of his family and friends🙏

  7. Ed was a great neighbor and all around good guy. I always enjoyed our warm weather chats when he and I would be out doing yard work. Invariably his lawn looked better than mine! I was always grateful knowing Ed was around and would help me whenever I needed it.
Sincere condolences to Wanda, Heather and Holly.
