  5. So long Steve, was deeply saddened to learn of your passing. Hard working, a quick wit, and an endearing/ever-present smile is what comes to mind when I think of you. A noteworthy legacy to be sure! My thoughts and prayers will be with your family, both those you left and those that are now welcoming you with open arms.

  7. So sorry to hear about Stephen’s passing. I met Stephen and Rachel while undergoing treatment in St Louis. I found both Stephen and Rachel friendly and loving. Stephen will be missed by all that knew him. Again, my heartfelt condolences to his family for their loss.

  9. Steve, I’m sorry you’ve passed, but sure you’re going to a better place. Nothing satisfied me more about “Mad Steve and the Rockets” than the renewal of our friendship. That was more important to me than the band, and I will miss you until God chooses to reunite us. However, I won’t be sad in thinking of you, but confident that our friendship persists in the Spirit.
    Love,
    Tom

  17. I have been blessed with an amazing cousin I can call a true friend. Steve always gave a warm, loving hug and loved me unconditionally. I will miss his random “I love you Jules!” texts. He let me know when he was thinking about me…always made me feel special.
I’m so glad I was able to spend some one-on-one quality time with him recently.
I always responded back, “I love you too, cousin dear!!”
Sending my love and prayers to Rachel and all their children and to Steve’s siblings and their families.
