George Raymond Mudd, aged 98, of Cottleville, Missouri, passed away on November 6, 2024. Born on June 26, 1926, George dedicated his life to his family and his country.

George valiantly served in the US Navy during World War II, a testament to his bravery and commitment to national service. After his military career, he transitioned to a successful professional life, working in accounting for notable companies such as McDonnell Douglas and The Boeing Corporation. His work ethic and precision were highly respected by his colleagues and peers.

In his leisure, George was an avid enthusiast of fishing, camping, and travel, passions that brought him great joy and peace throughout his life. These activities reflected his love for adventure and his appreciation for the natural world.

George is survived by his loving wife, Betty; his children, Glenda Kohr, George Mudd II, and Thomas (Ruth) Mudd; his stepchildren, Sue (John) Spainhoward and Diana (Todd) Albrecht. He was a cherished grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather. He also leaves behind his siblings, James, Ed, and Theresa.

George’s life was marked by his dedication to his family, his service to his country, and his professional achievements. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew him and loved him.
