In Loving Memory

Mueller, Alexander G. “Alex”

Mueller, Alexander G. “Alex”

Baptized into the Hope of Christ’s Resurrection on Saturday July 3, 2021 at the age of 24.  Beloved son of Gary and the late Tamara (nee Haskenhoff) Mueller.  Dear brother of Ashley and Matt Mueller.  Beloved boyfriend of Casey Hendrickson.  Dear grandson of Claire (nee Gavin) and the late Raymond Mueller and the late Bill and late Virginia (nee Weicker) Haskenhoff..  Dear nephew, cousin and friend to many.

Alex attended Assumption Catholic Grade School.  He played soccer, baseball, basketball, volleyball and was a member of the Cub Scouts.  Alex made many lifelong friends during these years.  It was at this time that he met Casey and they were together to the end.  He attended St. John Vianney High School where he was on the track team as a freshman and was elected to the National Honor Society as an upper classman.  He graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2015.  Alex attended the University of Missouri-Columbia and was a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity.  He graduated in Dec. 2019 with two Bachelor of Science Degrees, one in Mathematics and one in Economics.  He was employed by Centene Corporation as a business analyst at the time of his death.

Alex never met a stranger and had a way of making those around him feel very special and loved.  He had a zest for life and was the life of the party.  Alex’s love of the outdoors was evident in his enjoyment of hiking, fishing, and golfing.  He also enjoyed bowling with his friends.  He traveled often and packed a lot of life into his 24 years.  Above all else, Alex enjoyed spending time with the love of his life Casey, his family and his many lifelong friends.  He will truly be missed by all who knew him.

Services:  Memorial Visitation will be Friday, July 16, 5:00 pm until Memorial Mass at 6 pm at Assumption Catholic Church, 4709 Mattis Road (63129).  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Susan G. Komen for the Cure in honor of his mother Tammy.
