In Loving Memory

Mueller, Thomas P. Sr.

April 4, 1935 - December 19, 2024

Fortified with the sacraments of Holy Mother Church, Thomas Paul Mueller Sr. passed from this earthly world and entered the Kingdom of Heaven on Thursday evening, December 19th. He was born to Genevieve (nee Schmitt) and Anthony Mueller on April 4th, 1935, and into a home filled with five brothers and two sisters. Thomas attended St. Mary’s High School his freshman year, later transferring to and graduating from St. Louis University High School. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army and a graduate of Washington University where he received a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He spent the largest part of a 55-year career working with the same group of people at Bendy Engineering Corporation and Penta Engineering, designing and building cement manufacturing plants around the world.

Faith, family and education were most valuable to him.  He was so proud of his children and grandchildren, and all their accomplishments.  He loved gardening, fishing, traveling and hosting many family parties at his home.  He was an active member of Our Lady of Providence Church for 55 years.

Thomas is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years Patricia (nee Zahn), dear children Chris (Carol Dahl), Thomas (Maureen Bannister), and Michelle (Chris Fox), nine grandchildren Nicole (Marc), Andrew, Nathan, Zachary, Abby (Matt), Meghan, Alex, Anna and Charlie), and one great grandchild (Luke).  He is also survived by an older brother Bill Mueller.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters, four brothers, and a son (Mark).  Thomas was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and friend who will be sorely missed.

Memorial visitation will be held at Our Lady of Providence Catholic Church (8866 Pardee Road, 63123) on Saturday, January 4, 9:00 am until memorial Mass at 10:30 am.  Interment at Resurrection Cemetery.

Masses would be appreciated, or donations may be made to Society of St. Vincent de Paul at Our Lady of Providence Church.
