SERVICES: Visitation at The Lutheran Church of Webster Gardens (8749 Watson Road St. Louis, Missouri 63119) on Thursday, October 8, 10:00 a.m. until service of celebration at 11:00 a.m. Charles was a retired Contract Manager of St. Louis County Government, Radio Amateur KOCW, 1955 graduate Webster Groves High School, past member of UNR, AMVETS member and church worker. Memorials to Lutheran Church of Webster Gardens and Lutheran Senior Services preferred.
Charles and I worked together starting in September, 1973 for 31 years. I recall his trips to Arizona to visit his parents and relatives in the Jefferson City area.
He was very dedicated to his profession and interests and always took the
ethical path in his life. It was a very special moment when I attended the
wedding of Barbara and Charles.
Even though I didn’t know Charles for that many years, I respected him for his intelligence, love of his Church and the care of my long-time friend Barbara. He was a good man and I wish I had known him for a longer time. May he rest in peace.
