Felix Joseph Nau Sr left the living world peacefully on June 29, 2025, he was 72 years old. A man full of life and vigor with plenty of fire in the tank. He leaves behind a loving wife of 41 years, Lind Ely Nau, two sons, Felix (Amy) Joseph Nau Jr and Jason (Laura) Nicholas Nau, three grandchildren, Luna Rae Ann Nau , Theia Rose Catherine Nau, Cosmo Joseph Jay Nau, and six brothers and sisters who loved him unconditionally. He lived life to the fullest and made our house a home. A spirit so big it encompassed everyone around him. Diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at 4 years old, he outlived what modern medicine could provide and used his diagnosis, not as a crutch, but as fuel to live with no regrets . He would always say, ” I will make every day on this earth better than the last, so on the days that you meet me, it is the best day of my life”. Our hearts are full and now so is the spiritual world with his presence. Memorial services will be held August 9, 2025 at Saint Peter’s Catholic Church in Kirkwood, Missouri at 11 AM followed by celebration of life.”

Even tho I only met him once, he left a strong memory of who he was. Yes, he was quite the character and you could tell, he left no boxes unopened. At his 70th birthday, he was bigger than life, strong and confident. I am so happy that we met. It helps me understand his families loss. May God be with you all and give you comfort.
