In Loving Memory

Nguyen, Hieu

Hieu Nguyen, 32, of St. Louis, MO passed away unexpectedly on October 2nd, 2022. Hieu was born on July 14, 1990 to Em Le and Trung Nguyen.
Hieu connected with so many people from spiritual views, all range of music genres, fancy to even nasty bourbons, to the nicest cigars, weightlifting or he would correct us and say powerlifting. Hieu’s passions led him to have a huge group of friends that loved him dearly. He also loved all his family and friends to the core, as he would always be there for anyone at any given time.
Hieu had many talents and passions from playing guitar to working well with his hands as he was a construction worker. Hieu even took his good looks to the next level as he was a handsome model. The man could do it all. Hieu truly enjoyed spending time with loved ones and his passion for donuts was undeniable.
Music was a big part of Hieu’s life as he played in a band for many years, he enjoyed going to concerts, as well as sharing his new music experiences with his loved ones.
His best friend Gannicus the Frenchie which he unfortunately lost in April 2022 was a huge part of Hieu’s life. G, as he was called, was a spunky little Frenchie with a ton of life that reflected in Hieu’s everyday demeanor.
Hieu survived by his mother Em Le, his father Trung Nguyen, his stepfather Phong Nguyen, along with his siblings Carol Nguyen, Bob Nguyen, Bryan Nguyen, Kaylene Nguyen, Helen Nguyen, and Luan Nguyen.
We request everyone Hieu loved to join us in celebrating his beautiful life at Kutis South County Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd, Sunday, October 9th between 4pm and 8pm CST. We will have a private funeral service for his family on Monday, October 10th.
We plan to have an informal meet up this Saturday, October 8 which will be determined soon. More info will follow.

  1. I am devastated to learn of Hieu’s passing. He always had a smile on his face and a passion we shared in cigars. I met him during his time working at Santino’s. I will miss you my friend and I hope to see you again on the other side.
