January 28, 1932 - May 8, 2024

age 92, married April 14, 1951 to the late Norman Nickell for 57 years.  Dear mother of Donna (Paul) Westhoff, Dennis (Bree) Nickell, Linda (Murry Morose) Miller, Susan (Lawrence) Buehler, Joe (Dana) Nickell and the late David (Surviving Jean) and Gerry (surviving Nancy) Nickell.  Dear mother-in-law of the late Lucia Nickell.  Dear grandmother of Kim (Jason), Angie (Jake), Jessica (Lee), Dana (Jon), Jason (Kayley), Scott (Kathy), Lauren (Mark), Karen, Lisa (Cole), Ryan and Katie (Jason).  Dear great grandmother of Brianna, Gianni, Henry, Shelby, Connor, Harvey, Josephine, Chloe, Lily, Jack, Claire, Lucy, Amelia, Logan, Kaylee, Melody, Monroe, Nolan, Ava and Zachary.  Dear great great grandmother of Reece.  Dear sister of Connie and the late Juanita, Margaret, Carol, and Betty.  Our dear aunt and friend.

Chloe loved doing puzzles, playing board games, pinocle, reading and doing cross word puzzles.  She loved to be around her family, and it brought so much joy to her when they all got together.  She never would forget a birthday and never missed watching Mass on Sunday mornings on TV.  She always had to say grace and thank you for our food.

SERVICES:  Funeral from Kutis Affton Chapel (10151 Gravois Road St. Louis, Missouri 63123) Wednesday, May 15, 9:30 a.m. to St. John Paul II for 10:00 a.m. Mass.  Interment Resurrection Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Arthritis Foundation appreciated.  Visitation Tuesday 4 – 9 p.m.

  1. She was a great and kind Aunt. Only one besides my mom and grandma to write me while living Away in Germany and Georgia. Appreciated the thoughtfulness.

  2. So sorry I am unable to be there with you. Have been fighting a cold with a horrible cough. Please know we are with you in spirit.
