Niemeyer, Donald R. “Don” Wednesday December 4, 2024. Beloved husband of Catherine M. Niemeyer (nee Basich). Dear father of Kerry (Tim) Bucher. Dear grandfather of Ryan Bucher. Dear brother of Eleanor “Ellie” (Walter) Schmidt. Our dear uncle, great uncle and friend.

Visitation at Kutis South County Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd. Wednesday December 11, 1:00 pm until service at 3:00 pm. Service concludes at the funeral home. Retired member of I.B.E.W. Local #1. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association appreciated.

  3. I am so sorry for the loss of such a pleasant neighbor. He had a wonderful smile. So appreciated his help taking my trash can back to my garage. He was kind and helpful. He will be missed. May the peace of God which surpasses our understanding be with Cathy and all the family.

  7. So sorry to hear of Don’s passing. I’ve only known him a few years. But I have so enjoyed hearing his stories. When we would get together for our monthly dinners the guys were always full of tails from their high school days. I’ll miss that!

  8. Don has been a wonderful friend since High School. We have shared many wonderful years of friendship and fun together. He will be greatly missed.
