Fortified with the Sacrament of Holy Mother Church, passed away peacefully, on Saturday September 5th, 2026.
Beloved husband of Sharon K. (Miller) Nolan, devoted father of twins Daniel T. (Kate) Nolan Jr. and Nancy (Tom) Foy; adoring grandfather of Jack (Allyse Agers) Foy, Benjamin Foy, Adam Foy; dearest son and last living of four children of the late James E. and Estelle (O’Brien) Nolan; loving brother of the late Jane (Cliff) Kavanaugh, James (Joyce) Nolan, and Joan (James) Doyle; our dear uncle, great uncle, cousin and friend to many.
Dan and Sharon were married for 58 years. During those years they loved playing golf together and with family and friends. He enjoyed his grade school (Our Lady Lourdes) and high school (St. Louis University High) class reunions all the way up until his death. As an avid historian, he created a family photo album every year. He was a member of the Teamster local 682 retiring from driving a redi-mix truck. He amassed a collection of over 300 toy mixers. He also collected coins, hats, matchbooks, music and flags. He was very proud of the WWII aircraft models that he assembled in his free time. He and Sharon enjoyed camping so much that he helped organize a Family Camp Out that has continued for over 40 years and 4 generations! Dan loved his family. He loved family gatherings during the holidays and spending time with friends. He was a proud Navy veteran.

Mr. Nolan , a few memories pop up. You had a wicked corkball at Family picnics. I was the kids at that time. Still have hats and Mom’s ( Fran) cold cup from Family picnics which I believe was your idea. At that time it was FCO Tenth Year, since 1986.
Thank you for your Service. Be at Peace
To Dan’s family,
Always enjoyed seeing Dan at the office or at church. I was honored to have him as my patient for many years and to be able to call him a friend and fellow Blue Buddy. He was such a nice & happy man and will be greatly missed.
Sincerely
As Max Starkloff’s little sister, I remember Dan as a good friend to Max, my mother, and me. His visits with Sharon were a lot of fun. I remember him in highschool as funny and when he and Max and their other neighborhood friends got together there were some very good times. Thoughts and prayers to Sharon and their family. Probably one of the nicest people I’ve ever known. Peace
One of the kindest persons I ever known. Peace and love
Grade school, high school, and reunions: a great guy to be with. Cheerful, happy, upbeat. And a good basketball player, as well. Good memories.
May peace be with you

Dan was a favorite! Always laughing and having fun! Danny made you feel comfortable like you were one of the guys. He is who I was named after and I was very proud of that. He will be missed but not forgotten.
Sharon, Dan, Nancy, and family, I’m so sorry to hear from Shelly of Dans passing . I remember a friendly, just lovely guy and I’m sorry for your heartache. Until you are together again, wishing His peace and comfort for you all, Suzie Newkirk Lewis
