Love you Uncle John.
May his memory be a blessing.
Did Mr. Novak work at the Defense Mapping Agency?
Yes
I remember John when we worked at NGA.
We weren’t in the same office, but I enjoyed seeing and talking to him over the years!
For several years, I worked with John in the G&G mathematics branch of DMAAC.
John was really into Sci-Fi. He attended many Sci-Fi conventions across the country. He’d always return from such a trip with many lively stories to tell!
He was an extremely pleasant person to know and to work with; i.e. the kind of person that will be missed.
Hello Dave, I was looking for another friends Obituary and saw your note… Hope you are doing well. I’m still in St. Louis, been retired for 8 years now, I live on the Hill… if your ever back in STL or wish to contact . Take Care
Yes
RIP, dear brother.
John and I started at DMAAC in the same carto training class in 1974. We worked together briefly before we both moved to different Departments. I always enjoyed listening to his many stories related to his pastime of Sci-Fi trips. He had a sense of humor that was uniquely his own. A friend for many years who will be missed.
May he rest in eternal peace with the Lord!
