Tanya L. Novak (nee Phillips) entered into rest on Monday, October 19, 2026.
Beloved wife of Donald Novak; loving mother of Clayton Novak, Allie (Novak) Plant, and Ryan Novak; cherished grandmother of Liam Plant; dear daughter of Paul and Margaret Phillips; and beloved sister to her nine brothers and sisters.
Tanya was a devoted Christian whose faith was the foundation of her life. She was a woman of incredible strength, whose faith in God carried her through life’s challenges. She faced life with courage, grace, and a steadfast spirit, serving as an example of perseverance and unwavering faith to those around her. Her strength was matched by her compassionate heart and the love she so freely gave to others.
A dedicated registered nurse, Tanya devoted her life to caring for others, bringing comfort, kindness, and compassion to those in her care. Her love for people extended far beyond her profession. She had a special way of making everyone feel welcomed and loved, and she considered a friend nearly everyone she met. Her generous spirit, warm heart, and genuine care for others left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
Above all, Tanya treasured her family and the relationships she built throughout her life. She was a source of comfort, encouragement, and inspiration to those she loved. Her life was a testament to the power of faith, the beauty of a compassionate heart, and the strength found in trusting God through every season. She leaves behind a legacy of love, courage, and unwavering faith that will continue to live on through her family and all those fortunate enough to have known her.
Though she will be deeply missed, the love she gave so freely, the strength she exemplified, and the memories she created will forever remain in the hearts of those she leaves behind. Her family finds comfort and peace in the promise of eternal life and the hope of being reunited again in God’s presence.

Aunt Tanya you were the best. I will miss your smile, and your laugh. I will miss our talks and hearing you say “Hi Em!” You were truly an angel on earth. We are so blessed to have had you in our lives. You did so much for us when dad passed away. God knew we needed you. Me and mom will miss you sooooo much. Life will never be the same without you. May you rest in peace 🙏
