Ode, George Russell Jr.

passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at the age  of 90. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years  Evelyn Ode (nee Blair); his 7 children, Claire (J) Glasgow, Russell (Kathy) Ode, Albert (Elaine) Ode, Nancy (Mark) Ode, Susan Ode, Kenneth Ode and Jody (Jeff) Andes; grand- father of 14; great-grandfather of 5.

George served in World War II and the Korean War as a proud Marine. He was a lifetime member of the NRA. He was an avid outdoorsman  who loved hunting, fishing and camping, He instilled his love of the outdoors in his children and grand- children.

Services: Funeral from KUTIS AFFTON Chapel, 10151 Gravois, Monday, November 27, 12 noon. Interment J.B.National Cemetery. Visitation Sunday, 3-8 p.m.
