Loving husband of 64 years to Donna Oehlert (nee McGlaughlin). Beloved father of Debbie (Charlie) Davis, Tammy (Steve) Hedrick. Cherished Grandfather of Joel Davis, Jonathan Davis, Krista (Dann) Rosner and Lucas (Miranda) Hedrick, Great Grandfather; Conor, Gabriel, Nico, Eleanor, Adelynn and Emma. Dear brother of Tony (Donna) Oehlert, Maxine Noll and the late Rudy (surviving Jane) Oehlert. Brother-in-law of Karen Scurlock.

Don loved his family dearly and was proud of his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He delighted in supporting them in any way he could, Don was a stranger to none and a friend to all.

Services; Visitation at Kutis South County Chapel (5255 Lemay Ferry) on Tuesday, 9/10 from 4-8PM then to St. John’s Lutheran Church (Arnold, MO) on Wednesday 9/11 for visitation from 10AM until service at 11AM. Interment Shepherd Hills Cemetery. Memorials to St. John’s Lutheran Church appreciated.

  6. I drove a bus with Don and Donna for many years and I could not have asked for knowing such wonderful people Don was such a wonderful, caring and loving person with a heart of gold. My family will never forget all the wonderful times Mr. and Mrs. Claus came to our house and put smiles on our kids and grandkids faces. Don will be missed by many Prayers for Donna and the family. See you in Heaven Don.
