In Loving Memory of Renée Lynn Ostendorf
Renée Lynn Ostendorf, passed away on June 26 surrounded by the love of her family, leaving behind a legacy of strength, laughter, and unwavering devotion to those she loved.
Renée was the kind of person who never blended into the background. Her vibrant spirit, infectious laugh, and unmistakable presence could light up any room. Strong-willed, determined, and confident. Those who knew her appreciated her authenticity, her fierce spirit, and the way she loved with her whole heart.
Above all else, Renée treasured her family. She shared a deep and lasting love with her husband, Joe, and was a proud and devoted mother to her son, Bryan, and daughter, Melanie. She warmly welcomed her daughter-in-law, Meaghan, as part of the family she cherished.
Nothing brought Renée greater joy than being “NéeNée”. She adored her grandchildren, Lincoln, Charlotte, and Colton, and created memories they will carry with them forever.
Renée is survived by her loving parents, Bob and Judy; proceeded in death by her brother Michael; her devoted husband, Joe; her son, Bryan, daughter-in-law Meaghan, and grandchildren Lincoln, Charlotte, and Colton; and her daughter, Melanie. She is also remembered with love as Melanie continues to carry forward her mother’s strength following the recent loss of her own husband, Tyler; and her dog, Sadie, who also brought her so much joy.
Though her life ended far too soon, we find comfort in the countless memories she gave us, the values she instilled, and the love that will continue to live on through her family.
She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

Please accept my deepest sympathy on the passing of Renee. I was blessed to have her as one of my closest friends in high school. She brought so much kindness, laughter and joy to those who knew her, and I will always cherish the memories we shared.

My heart is broken! The thought of never seeing you again brings tears to my eyes. Even more so, because all of this was such a surprise. I will miss you forever my sweet friend.

Renee, I’ll always picture you on that beach in St. Augustine, singing Buckcherry at the top of your lungs with Joe, dancing without a care in the world. You truly had a zest for life. A trait that has been passed down to your children and grandchildren.
And I’ll never forget that bumpy takeoff on the flight to Mexico for Bry and Megz’s wedding when everyone else was gripping their seats and you threw your hands up and yelled, “What a thrill!” It’s still an inside joke that makes us smile.
Every time I saw you, you welcomed me with the warmest hug, as if no time had passed. You always had a kind word, looked effortlessly stylish and made people feel seen.
We’ll keep loving on your kiddos, because they’re our family too and we’ll always be here for them. You are so deeply missed but you’ll never be forgotten.
