OTTENLIPS, Bernice L. “Bambi” (nee Schmitt) Baptized into the hope of Christ’s Resurrection Sunday March 5, 2023 Beloved wife  of the late Roy Ottenlips for 62 years. Dear Mother of Douglas (Elaine) Ottenlips Dear grandmother of Jeffrey (Kristin) Ottenlips and Stacie (Fred) Thebeau. Bernice was born on March 12, 1928 in St Louis City,  where she was raised and attended St John the Baptist high school. She was a homemaker as well as employed at Swing-A-Way Mfg and Prince Gardner.

Bernice served as a past president of the CBC high school Mothers Club. She was passionate about her family and her faith; an accomplished gardener and avid decorator. Thank you Holly, Sarah, and Kit for your care.

Funeral from KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd.  Wednesday March 15, 9:30 AM to Assumption Catholic Church for 10 AM Mass. Interment  Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers,  contributions  to St Jude’s Childrens Hospital. Visitation Tuesday 4-7 PM
