Born May 11, 1956 – Died July 12, 2025, at the age of 69.
Dear husband of Jean M Parmeley (nee Ruyle); dear father of Sean Parmeley (Michele) and Jason Ruyle (Dena); grandfather of, Morgan (Lee) Williams, Hannah (Kim) Ruyle, Brenna Ruyle, Laney Parmeley, Connor Ruyle, Cole Parmeley, Nolan Parmeley and Liam Ruyle; great-grandchild, Ashton Williams.
Paul is preceded in death by his parents Paul Z and Rosemary Parmeley and his first wife Karen Parmeley (nee Stevenson).
Paul spent his career working in information technologies designing and maintaining programs for companies such as 7-Up, AT&T and AMDOCS. Paul retired in the fall of 2024.
Paul especially loved to spend his free time on his hobbies, stamp collecting, fishing and playing golf with good friends. Almost everyone who knew Paul also knew he loved taking care of his 1986 Chevrolet Monte Carlo LS and showing it at every car show he could make it to.
Having obtained the Rank of Eagle Scout as a young man, Paul was an avid supporter of the Boy Scouts of America. As an adult he served as a longtime leader, Scoutmaster and Cubmaster of Florissant, MO, Troop 705 and Pack 705, where he made many lasting memories and gained many friends.
As a lifelong member of the St. Louis community Paul will be missed by his family, friends, colleagues, and the numerous people whose lives he touched.
An open memorial service will be at Kutis Funeral Homes Affton Chapel (10151 Gravois St. Louis, MO 63123) on Saturday July 26, 2025, 3pm to 6pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to one of the following organizations.
1. Kids Night Out Programming at the Carondelet YMCA.
2. The Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis Tornado Disaster Relief.

I had the pleasure of working with Paul at AT&T/Amdocs and will always remember his professionalism, dedication, and kindness. He had a great sense of humor that brought laughter to even the busiest days. Paul will be deeply missed by many. May he rest in peace.
