In Loving Memory

Patrico, Jasper

Patrico, Jasper 91, of St. Louis, MO passed away surrounded by his loving  children on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at Bethesda Dilworth. In addition to his parents, Joseph and  Giovannina “Jennie” (nee  Perrone), Jasper was preceded in death by his beloved wife  Jeannine “Nena” Patrico (nee  Koprivica) and 2 brothers, John W. and Anthony J.  Jasper is  survived by his 4 children, David (Sandy) Patrico, Jeannine (Ted) Scheff, Elaina Maurer, Tony (Lisa) Patrico; 5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

From the 60’s throughout the early 1980’s Jasper was the proud owner of an ice cream/food vending business called  “Tastee-Freez”.  He was a hard working man that provided for his family, never complaining about his endless work days driving around the city to catch the lunchtime crowds at factories during the day and then residential areas in the evening, for those “I scream for ice cream” crowds on hot summer nights. Most of the Patrico kids (children, nieces, nephews) and some of their friends worked with Jasper at one time or another and have their own cherished memories.

Jasper retired from Energy Oil Petroleum Company back in the late 1980’s. His supervisor once commented that if anyone could find a home or business when it came to delivering fuel oil, it was Jasper. He was a walking mapquest. Jasper’s favorite pastimes were golfing and bowling with his friends and family.
