In Loving Memory

Patterson, Donna A.

April 19, 1953 - August 8, 2025

Donna Kay (Burns) Patterson
 April 19, 1953 – August 8, 2025

Donna Kay Patterson, 72, of Arnold, Missouri, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on August 8, 2025. Born April 19, 1953, in St. Louis, Missouri, daughter of Dorothy and Clifford Burns, Donna lived a life filled with love, faith, and service to others.

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Donna’s greatest joy was her family—especially her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She cherished time spent gardening and camping in her RV alongside her husband, Rob. A faithful daughter of God, she was a dedicated member of Arnold United Baptist Church and lived her life as a shining example of Christ’s love.

Donna loved Jesus, the outdoors, and country music. She took great pride in her career at Unigroup, where she worked for over 30 years before retiring in May 2024. She will be remembered for her infectious smile and the irreplaceable light she was to her loved ones.

She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Patterson; her children, Deanna (Jeffrey) Lucas, Debra (Adam) Holder, and Bryan Patterson; her grandchildren, Amanda (Brady) Johnson, Katlyn (Petie) Ashley, Aidan Holder, Abigail Holder, and Ashley Patterson; her great-grandchildren, Kolten Ashley, Maci Ashley, Noah Johnson, and Lily Johnson; her siblings, Gary (Patrick) Burns, Connie (Terry) Hawkins, and Bessie (Richard) Wampler; and her uncle, Jim Stewart. She is also fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Donna will be remembered as a loving great-grandma, grandma, mother, wife, sister, aunt, and friend whose warmth, humor, and kindness touched all who knew her.

  1. To Donna’s Family:
So sorry for your loss. I worked with Donna at United for many years. She was such a special Lady. Always smiling and had such a gentle spirit, great sense of Humor, too!! Since we both retired from UVL, a group of other retirees would meet for lunch every few months or so to visit and talk about our lives, our Kids and Grandkids / Great-grandkids and husbands too! Please know that my prayers and good thoughts are with the family during this difficult time.
May God bless you all. Emily Bayer

  4. We are saddened to hear of Donna’s passing. We only knew her through UniGroup, as we are an agent for Mayflower Transit located in Rochester, NY.
She was one of the nicest, most knowledgeable, and helpful people we have had to work with at UniGroup. Always willing to help and answer questions.
Whenever we knew that Donna was processing one of our orders, we were confident it would be done right. When she retired, it left a hole that could not be filled.
We will be keeping her family in our prayers.
