George Pelekanos

In Loving Memory

Pelekanos, George H.

March 4, 1964 - April 15, 2024

Memory eternal George Haralambos Pelekanos (March 4, 1964-April 15, 2024)

George was born in Pireus, Greece, the second child of Haralambos and Fani Pelekanos. When George and his sister, Alexandra, were still young, Haralambos and Fani moved their family to St. Louis, Missouri, and raised their children there. He was Regional Vice President of Aetna Insurance for many years, but he also loved his family very much. In addition to spending time with his beloved family, George was an excellent cook and fisherman, and enjoyed cars and motorcycles. George is preceded by his loving parents, Haralambos and Fani Pelekanos. He is survived by his two sons, Jeffrey and Matthew, their spouses, Kathryn and Paige, his grandchildren, Kain, Waylon, and Dylan, as well as his fiancée, Terri Fitzgerald, his sister, Alexandra, her husband, Roger, and her children. His generosity will always be remembered. May his memory be eternal.

Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M. on Sunday, April 21, 2024 at Kutis Funeral Home (10151 Gravois, Affton, MO 63123), with Trisagion prayers beginning at 7:00 P.M. The funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, April 22, 2024, at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church. Interment at St. Matthew’s Cemetery will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in George’s name to the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church would be appreciated. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to Kutis Funeral Home (10151 Gravois, 63123) and will be forwarded on to the family.
