Donald R. Pennington, 84, from Harviell, Missouri passed on 2/18/22 in Willis, Texas. His wife, of 64 years, Dorline (Grim) Pennington preceded him in death on December 17, 2018.

He is also survived by one brother – Wayne (Lavon) Pennington and many other relatives and friends.
Don raised his family and lived in Jefferson County most of his adult life. He worked as a tool and die maker at Progressive Service, in St Louis, for 41 years. Don enjoyed building new houses and spending time with family. He built and managed Country Trail Estates Mobile Home Park in Barnhart and Karrington Subdivision in Farmington, Missouri.
A private funeral and celebration of life will be held at a later date.
It was great sadness that I learnt that Don had passed – albeit two years after his passing.
Don and Dorline were our landlords when we moved to Farmington from Melbourne Australia in 1995. They were great landlords and soon became our friends.
They made our time Farmington very enjoyable and memorable.
Don was very generous allowing me to use his tools and machinery whenever I wanted. He was always happy to help.
Unfortunately, our circumstances changed when we returned to Australia and we lost touch with many of our American friends.
Rest in Peace Don and Dorline.
