Wallace “Wally” S. Perks was born on June 28, 1953, in St. Louis, MO, to Wallace P. and Trula M. (nee Ponder) Perks, and entered into rest on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at the age of 72.
Loving husband for 50 years to the late Patricia (nee Downen) Perks. Dear father of Greg (Tara) Perks and Danny (Tracey) Perks. Loving grandpa of Sydney, Macy, and Amanda Perks, and Courtney (Colton) Ross. Dear brother of Cindy (Skip) Smith, Linda Perks, Mindy (Michael) Hauler, and Craig (Sue) Perks. Dear uncle, cousin, and friend to many.
Wally was a Production Manager at Boeing for 41 years. A man of classic tastes, he was happiest when watching an old western, admiring a vintage car, or sharing a bottle of fine bourbon. Above all, he cherished the camaraderie of a good hunting trip with the boys, creating memories that will be treasured forever. Fly high, Superman!
SERVICES: A VISITATION will be held on Sunday, May 31, from 2:00 – 6:00 pm at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held on Monday, June 1, at 9:00 am. Burial at Park Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations in his honor are appreciated to the Missouri Civil War Museum. mcwm.org
