Peters, Gary John, (November 6, 1946-September 5, 2022). Beloved husband of Karen (Earley) for 53 years; son of the late Cyril and Katherine (Panus) Peters; loving father to Kevin (Kelly) Peters, Sean
(Kelly) Peters, Amy (Garry) Moore; Grandpa to Madeline, Gavin, Bailey, Lily, Maura, Carson, Hannah, Liam, and Cameron; special “Uncle Big Guy” to Tom Flickinger; beloved brother of Maureen (Sam) Mezines,
Kathy (the late Mike) Wagstaff, and Pat (Ferd) Faulstich; loving brother-in-law to Pam (Ray) Timmons, Michael (Carol) Earley, Patrick (Debbie) Earley, and Colleen Flickinger; dear Uncle, cousin, and friend to many.

Gary was a member of St John the Baptist Parish where he met his wife, Karen. After being discharged from the Army, he and Karen married and moved to Arnold, MO. They were members of
Immaculate Conception Parish where their children attended school.

He worked in the printing trade for 40 years. He was an avid lover of sports. He loved the game of soccer and played at a competitive level. His children inherited the love of the game, and he enjoyed coaching and watching them play. In his later years, he was passionate about playing golf and watching any sport that his grandchildren and nephew, Tom were playing. Gary will be missed by many.

  1. Gary was a friend, while growing up in St. John the Baptist neighborhood. Set pins with him at bowl Mor lanes on Gravois for 2years. Lunch with Gary and Benny Gross at Cleveland H.S. freshman year. Played sports with him for several years. A good person to hang with.
