Peterson, Emilee Anna

Peterson, Emilee Anna (nee Loos), 72, of St. Louis, MO, passed away peacefully on December 4, 2016.

Born June 9, 1944 in Cape Girardeau, MO, she was the daughter of the late Albert Loos and Pauline Krieger Loos.

A beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, Emilee is survived by her devoted husband of 49 years, Glenn Lewis Peterson; one daughter, Michelle Hursong and husband Johnny, of Cincinnati, OH; one son, Troy Peterson and wife Mindy, of St. Louis, MO; three cherished grandchildren, Milo Peterson, Violet Hursong, and Ezra Peterson; one dear sister, Juanita Norris, of Cape Girardeau, MO; one nephew, Scott Norris, and one niece, Pam Franklin.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Linda Lou Loos; brother-in-law, Bill Norris; and nephew, Steven Norris.

Emilee was a long-time member of Christ Memorial Lutheran Church in St. Louis. She was retired from Laclede Groves where she worked as a hairdresser for many years.

Funeral at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road Friday, December 9, 10 a.m. interment to follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Visitation Thursday 4-8 p.m.
