Phillips, Kathryn, N. (nee Korth) was promoted to Glory and into the arms of her Savior on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, in the presence of her family.
Kathryn was married to the late Thomas Phillips. She was the daughter of Robert and Carolyn Korth as well as the adopted daughter of Rev. Allie and Donna Rains, all who proceeded her in death. She is the loving sister of Robert (Bobby) Korth of St. Louis County, MO, Tom Rains of Quincy, IL, Pattie Hanna, of Bardolph, Il, Darla Shular of St. Clair, MO and Jasper Rains of Ballwin, MO. She was our dear sister-in-law aunt, cousin, and friend.
Kathryn was a lover of animals, particularly tigers. She was the mom to many dogs through the years, including three that survived her. She loved her family and friends. She loved Jesus and His strength sustained her in many difficult times throughout her life. She was strong, kind, loving and beautiful.
Service: The family will receive visitors at Kutis Affton Chapel on Saturday, October 3, beginning at 11:00 AM. A celebration of life will begin at 12:00 PM. Interment at a later date at Valhalla Cemetery. Memorials to Stray Rescue St. Louis will be appreciated.
