Beloved wife of the late Thomas Pickens; loving daughter of the late Viola and Robert Lawton; dear sister of Kathleen (John) Tighe, Donna Lawton and the late Robert L. Lawton; dear aunt to 7 nieces and nephews and 17 great nieces and nephews.
Pat was a longtime educator who taught students all over the world, eventually retiring from the Mehlville School District.
Services: Visitation at St. Margaret Mary Alacoque Catholic Church (4900 Ringer Road), Monday January 26th 9:30 AM until funeral mass at 11:30 AM. Interment JB National Cemetery. Memorials to Alzheimer’s Association https://www.alz.org/ or St. Jude Children’s Hospital https://www.stjude.org/ appreciated.
She is such an important and influential person in my life. I am so grateful and blessed to have her in my life. She will forever be with me 🥰 in heaven 😇
Pat was a gem and a big part of my early career in education. I so enjoyed teaching with her at Blades Elementary. What a reunion she and Tom must have had in Heaven. 💗
I have thought of her often. I’m sorry I lost touch with her. She was a wonderful person and friend. We have a new angel looking over us!
