Pitti

In Loving Memory

Pitti, Salvatore

March 10, 1967 - March 5, 2024

Friday, March 10th, 1967 —Tuesday, March 5th, 2024.
Salvatore Pitti was a person who during his time here on earth touched the lives of so many with his warm nature, humor and charisma. He was always one to make others feel welcomed and appreciated, known by many as a great friend. Salvatore enjoyed passing his time by listening to 70’s & 80’s rock, playing board and card games, bowling, playing pool, spending time with others and no matter the time of day always enjoyed getting a cup of coffee.
He is the cherished father of Salvatore Joseph Pitti (Kelley Smith), Christopher Andrew Pitti (Emily Lay-Pitti) and Emily Elizabeth Pitti (Daylyn Sharp). As a family man nothing meant more to him than his children who made him immensely proud and provided him his strength. Salvatore greatly looked forward to meeting his first grandchild this summer and continuing his role as protector, guide and nurturer that he took such pride in. We will continue to share in family tradition, history and culture in his memory. In addition to his children he is survived by his sister Rosalie (Ed) Boseman and niece Mckayla (Nick) Kappauff. As well as many friends and extended family. Salvatore is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 27 years, Julie Anna Pitti (nee Palmisano) and his adored parents, Antonino Pitti and Mary Ann Pitti (nee Labarbera).
Though his passing was sudden, there is no doubt in our hearts that he will remain with each of us everyday. He was greatly loved and he will be missed by many.

  1. My heart goes out Sal’s beloved children, Sal was big part of our lives. I have wonderful memories of Sal, he made us laugh many times. Sal was married to our beautiful Julie and was lost when he lost her in 2016. Although Sal is gone too soon, he will be always be remembered as a loving son, husband, and father.; plus son-in-law. May Sal rest in the Arms of Jesus.

  5. I also knew Sal from Dave’s Diner. Although I did not know Sal very well, he always spoke to me as a long known friend. He always welcomed you with a warm smile. He will be missed by the many friends at Dave’s Diner. There’s always room for coffee, even in heaven!
