95, of Brentwood, TN went to be with her Lord on May 26, 2017.

Beloved mother of Don (Chris) Portell, David (Linda) Portell, Doug (Cindy) Portell; dear grandmother of Melissa (Michael)  Kirby, Melani (Craig) Chumley, Stacey Portell, Todd (Jana)  Portell, Paige (Zack) Stroup, Ashley (Cody) King, Brittany  (Jeremy) Eagleman; sister of Mason (Polly) Smith, Warren Smith, and Don (Janet) Smith.  Husband, Ron, went to his  heavenly home in 1998.  Daughter of the late C.E. and Blanche Smith; sister of the late Elwood, Buel, John Ray, Claxton, Rupert, and Clarence  Iverson Smith, and Hazel Rideout; grandmother to seven and great-grandmother to seven; aunt, cousin, and friend to many.

Services: A celebration of life will be held at Morning Pointe Senior Living, 1522 Wilson Pike, Brentwood, TN on June 3, 2017 at 10:00 am.  A family grave-side service will be at Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens in St. Louis, MO on May 31, 2017 at 10:00 am.  In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association 9370 Olive Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63132 or a charity of your choice.  A service of KUTIS AFFTON Chapel.
