Priest, Jack L.

87, of St. Louis, MO passed away on July 19, 2016.  Born on March 25, 1929, to Erna L. Stone (nee Wessel) and Charles Priest in Gordonville, MO.

He married Marjorie A. Priest (nee Segraves) in April 1951, who preceded him in death. He is survived by five children; Barbara A. Maugeri, John Michael Priest, Kimberly J. Stahnke (Jeff), Terri L. Neuman (George), Matthew K. Priest, nine grand-children, and eleven great grand-children.  Also surviving him are sister, Mary L. Helbig of Fenton, MO and brothers C. Donald Priest and Jerry Priest, both of Cape Girardeau, MO, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jack retired as a Surveyor from St. Louis County in 1995.  Throughout the years, he also tended bar at the Bulls & the Bears, Oliver’s, and Hilary’s, where he never served a stranger.  He was known as a man who loved life and his family.

Services: Visitation is Friday, July 22, 2016, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with services on Saturday, July 23, 2016, at 10:00 a.m.; both will be held at Kutis Funeral Home, 10151 Gravois Road, St. Louis, MO 63123.  Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family is appreciative of your donation to the Activity program at Mackenzie Place, 8520 Mackenzie Road, St. Louis, MO  63123, or by performing a random act of kindness in his memory.
