Quigley, John Franklin III

Born in Grand Rapids Michigan, he was fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, Saturday, December 23, 2017.

Beloved husband of the late Emma “Tim” Quigley; loving  father of Jack (Cindy) Quigley, Jill (Bill) Berry, Jan Black and the late Stephen (surviving Janet) Quigley; dearest grandfather of 9 and great-grandfather of 18; dear uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend to many.

John served in the US Army Airforce during WWII as a pilot. He was shot down over Austria and was a P.O.W. for over 11 months. He was a 42 year employee with Sears-Robuck, starting as a janitor and retiring as a divisional sales manager.

Services: Visitation at Sacred Heart Catholic Church (Valley Park), Friday, December 29th from 10 a.m. until the funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Red Cross Association appreciated.  A Kutis Affton Service.
