  1. We truly loved, Ruth. We never thought of her as a neighbor, but as family. We have many memories with her. She was the sweetest lady. We love talking to her. She has so much knowledge. I was thankful she was in our lives for the last four years. We are going to miss her so much. Praying for all of you who loves her.

  2. Ruth Quinn was my assistant when we both worked for the St. Louis County Business and Industrial Develpment Commission (BIDC) and then the Industrial Development Authority (IDA) of St. Louis County. Ruth was loyal, trustworthy and fastidious about her work. She was a strong, independent woman. I’m pretty sure she wouldn’t mind me saying that she didn’t put up with a lot of nonsense around the office. There is no way I could have initiated and organized the IDA without the advice and good sense of Ruth Quinn! But at the same time she had a great sense of humor and a heart of gold. I will miss her. It has been said that when a good friend passes away, a piece of one’s heart goes with them never to be replaced. The news of Ruth’s passing has lessened me and those who knew her.

My sincere condolences to her family. May Ruth rest, along with Bob, in God’s eternal hands!
