Radetic

In Loving Memory

Radetic, Mark C.

October 29, 1948 - May 30, 2026

Radetic, Mark C., fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Saturday, May 30, 2026, surrounded by the prayers and love of family and friends. Beloved husband and best friend of Nancy L. Radetic (nee Galbierz); loving father of Kelly (Tom) Mueller, Jennifer (Joseph) Selsor; cherished grandpa of Mya (Owen), Alex, Emma, Bridget, Ian, Abby and great-grandpa to baby Kehoe and who could forget being dog dad to Dixie Love; treasured brother of Chris (late Kristin), Marilyn, Annette (late Frank) and Ray (Jo); our dear brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Throughout his life, Mark answered the call to serve. A Vietnam veteran and recipient of the Bronze Star and the Army Commendation Medal for Heroism, he proudly served his country with courage and distinction. As Eagle Scout, he carried the values of integrity, leadership, and service with him throughout his life. Mark was equally devoted to his community, serving as a volunteer firefighter and a police officer, and a Fourth Degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus. Guided by his faith and a spirit of service, he generously gave his time and talents to causes that strengthened both his church and community.

For more than 30 years, he served families as a funeral director and driver, offering comfort and support during their times of loss. He was a Missouri High School Activities Association (MHSAA) referee for over 25 years, giving generously of his time to support young athletes. Mark found joy in connecting with others. He shared his love of soccer, cutting grass, fishing, and hunting with everyone he met and leaves behind a legacy of service, kindness, and friendship.
