Mr. Raniero was a wonderful man. He was a mentor and role model to many of us young kids on Wise Ave.
To his family, sons, John and Ed, I extend my sincere prayers and thoughts and those of Mom & Dad (Mac and Thelma Robinson). Your parents were the “BEST” neighbors. We all have the fondest memories of our time on Wise Ave. So glad we were able to get together a few years back in Caledonia and reminisce.
Love you Dad forever!
Grandpa you were the absolute best romodel of family and life skills anyone could of ever asked for. You looked out for all of us always and always had a lesson, story, or hand to give. You were one of a kind and I have peace knowing you lived your last years with the best care and most fun adventures. We all love you Boss. 💕

John, you were one of the most interesting and intelligent men I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing! Rest in peace my dear friend 😥
John Raniero was a friend to many, past President and Co-Founder of the
Cheltenham Neighborhood Association. John was a association member for over 50 years. He made countless contributions, including getting new paved roads, and sidewalks installed and stopped the blighting of our neighborhood. John fought everyday to keep Cheltenham Neighborhood a safe, clean place to live and to do business. There are no better neighbors then John and his wife, Mary Raniero.
He has left us with so many wonderful memories,
Steven Basinger
President
Cheltenham Neighborhood Association
We’re so deeply sorry for your loss, and sending you our loving thoughts and prayers.
Mr. Dad Raniero I didn’t know you personally but it was like I did bc your daughter ln love always shared you on the book with us. So we are like family. You’re gonna be missed but with good memories. ❤️ Much love for you Kathy . My condolences to the family.
Most of the Dogtown parents are gone. My mother said both of them were good people. She is 93 yrs old. She sends her condolences.
