Rauch, Shirley M.

Shirley (nee: Knecht) Rauch, age 89, passed away peacefully on December 1, 2023, at Mercy Hospital in Anoka, Minnesota. She was born on March 07, 1934 to the late Joseph and Jennie (nee: Drining) Knecht. Shirley was the beloved wife of the late Robert C. Rauch “Bob”, Dear mother of Diane Rauch New and Robert R. (Leslie) Rauch. She is also survived by her sibling Gerry (Ed) Davis, grandmother of Stacey (Andy) Dallmann, Scott New, Johnathon (Tina) New, Brendon Rauch, Mackenzie Rauch and Zach Rauch, dear Great Grandmother of Enda Dallmann and Matthew New; various nieces, nephews and friends. Shirley was preceded in death by sibling: Jeanette Rickman, and Dorothy McCarthy.
Shirley attended Cleveland High School in her youth, where she formed lasting friendships and cherished memories. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Dementia/Alzheimer’s research.

Services:  Visitation at KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd. on Sun. Dec. 10, 5-7 p.m.  Funeral Mass Mon. Dec. 11, 9:30 a.m. at Queen of All Saints Catholic Church. Burial to follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.

    You and Bob Sr. were my 2nd parents growing up and put up with your son’s and my shenanigans a lot even though we were such “good boys”! God bless you and say hi to my other dad….Tom

  3. My name is Elsie Bodo Milla, I attended grade school, Oak Hill with Shirley and Cleveland High School, Those were wonderful times. Another Angel has gotten her wings. I will be 90 in June. I live in South County, St. Louis, Mo.
