  9. Gab and I were the only two cousinjs in St. Louis in the early years. We both went through a lot of lonliness at the same time. His mom had him stay with a couple and my parents were always working. We did not have much of a wholesome home life.

We both turned out O.K. though. I will miss Gab and I was glad to hear he found God before he died. I tried to get him to go to church with me when I lived in California.

  11. My parents Virgil and Avis Sikes, and I loved Gabe very much. He and Artie spent a lot of time on the farm with my brothers, Don and Verlin when they were young. I also have great memories of him visiting mon and dad as they got older. So thankful that he found God. I have prayed for him for years. My prayers go to all of you, his family. I go by Carol now but he knew me as Pherba.
