Nora Ann Renfrow, held in the loving arms of her parents, ascended into the warm embrace of God on October 7, 2025, at St. Louis Children’s Hospital.
Born on April 22, 2024, Nora was the cherished and deeply loved daughter of Jacob and Allie Renfrow (nee Marra) who bravely faced every medical obstacle she encountered with grace. During her earthly time, she knew only love: the warmth of her family’s embrace, the gentle sound of their voices, and the promise of a life that will be celebrated eternally.
Sweet Nora was known by all for her consistent and infectious smile that will be forever etched into our minds. Always dressed in pigtails, she was happiest bouncing, looking at books and holding her favorite pink bunny friend, TT.
Nora is survived by her devoted parents, her adoring Poppi and Mimi Philip and Jeanne Marra; loving Grandma “RaRa” and Grandpa Sarah Stroup and Craig Smith, her Aunt Kelsey and Uncle Michael, Uncle Nick, Aunt Nylah, Aunt Sophie, Great Aunts and Uncles, and three great grandmas.
Though she didn’t meet crowds of people face to face, she was known by so many. Beyond those directly related to Nora, she was adored by countless friends, neighbors, nurses, caretakers and colleagues of her entire extended family.
Visitation will be held at Kutis Funeral Home (Affton) 10151 Gravois Road, St. Louis 63123, on Saturday, October 25, from 12-3 pm, followed by a memorial service at 3 pm. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Nora Renfrow Legacy Fund. These funds will be directed to various organizations that had a lasting impact on Nora’s life (St. Louis Children’s Hospital, The Ronald McDonald House, Gwendolyn’s Gifts, etc.). To do this, begin with the link to the Thrivent Charitable website that oversees Nora’s Legacy Fund and click “Give Now.” When designating your donation, you will be donating to: The Nora Renfrow Legacy Fund. Fund ID: 772762.

Jacob and family, we are so sorry to hear about Nora’s passing. We’re praying that God would surround you with His love and peace during this difficult time.
Jacob and Allie,
Your family is in our thoughts and hearts during this time and beyond. We are heartbroken to hear that your sweet precious Nora left your loving arms but have comfort in knowing she is now held in the arms of Jesus. I loved seeing your posts about Nora and seeing her smiling in every photo was a true testament to the wonderful life she was was experiencing during her short time on earth. And I absolutely love the pigtails! I would have loved to have been able to meet her in person, and in my heart she will always be a “Tia’s Kid” even though she never had the opportunity to come and stay with me, the fact that you were going to entrust her to me for daycare means the world to me. Prayers to you for Comfort and Peace.

Jacob and Allie,
I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your sweet daughter, Nora. I am wishing you all the peace and comfort God can provide.
Sweet Nora touched so many hearts during her time at St. Louis Children’s Hospt. Her strength, warmth, and that radiant smile will never be forgotten! She brought so much light into every room. She will never be forgotten by those of us who had the privilege to be part of her care. The love that surrounded her from her family was something truly special. Many of us who cared for her will be working during her service, but please know that we’ll be there in spirit, holding her and her family close in our hearts. <3
