Beloved husband of the late Joyce E.  Richars (nee Erb); Dear father of Robert (Peggy) Richars Jr.,  Terri Ringkamp, and John Richars; Dear grandfather of Lindsay (Bob), Laurie (Mark), Daniel (Molly), Brent (Brittany Gillick) and the late David; Dear great-grandfather of Bobby, John, Mark, and Reese. Dear brother of Elmer (Emelia) Richars; dear  brother-in-law of  Warren Erb. Our dear uncle and friend.

Services: Funeral from KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL, 10151 Gravois, Monday, October 1, 10 a.m. to St. Mark Catholic Church for 10:30 a.m. Mass. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Mr. Richars was a proud member of the St. Louis Soccer Hall of Fame and the Spanish Society Hall of Fame. Contributions to  Backstoppers or to the charity of your choice appreciated.  Visitation Sunday, 4-8 p.m.
