In Loving Memory

Riney, Roy L. Jr.

Roy L. Riney Jr., age 69, of Webster Groves, MO,  died peacefully on August 20, 2017 at the Missouri Veterans Home.  Roy is survived by his wife of 42 years, Barb Riney (nee Tabachik), daughter Ellen Riney-Graham (Curtis), and granddaughter Nora.  He is also survived by his mother Lillian Riney, brother Russell Riney (Rebecca), sisters Jackie Campbell (Neil), Lori Allen (Dan), Julie Hovis (Paul), many nieces, nephews, and other family members.  He is proceeded in death by his father Roy L. Riney Sr., brother Roger Riney (Delores) and sister Lesia Darr (David).

Roy proudly served his nation in the United States Navy, and will be buried at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in honor of his service.  He was known to friends and family for his kindness, gentle nature, and sense of humor.  He was passionate about his family, and bringing joy to those fortunate to be a part of his life.

Donations in honor of Roy should be sent to Cardinal Ritter Senior Services located at 7663 Watson Rd. St. Louis, MO,  the Missouri Veterans Home located at 10600 Lewis and Clark St. Louis, MO or the Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration.  Services will be held August 23 at 10am and visitation will be on August 22nd from 4pm – 8pm at Kutis Funeral Home in 10151 Gravois Rd, Affton, MO 63123.
