Robert Byrl Clark

Robert Byrl Clark, 84, of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away suddenly on Saturday, June 15, 2019. He was surrounded by his wife and adult children at the time. Beloved husband for 59 years of Janet Marie Hamilton Clark. Dear father of Christopher (Adrienne), Joan (Bill), Julie (Pete), and Robb (Carol). Dearest grandfather of Jacob, Dusty, Colby and Jesslyn Grothoff; Megan and Max Kavy; and Tyra Clark Dizon and Tori Clark.

He was born on March 29, 1935 and was the son of Mildred Elizabeth Ellebracht Pilas. As a young adult Robert served in the United States Navy from 1953-1957. He worked at Anheuser-Busch brewery in St. Louis from 1959 – 1976 and was a member of the Brewers and Malsters Local #6. For the remainder of his career he was a salesman of mining and heavy construction equipment until his retirement in 2011. He was an active member of Alcoholics Anonymous for 34 years.

Visitation to be held at Kutis Funeral Home (5255 Lemay Ferry Rd., 63129) in St. Louis from 4 – 8 pm on Thursday, June 20, 2019. Funeral mass to be held at Queen of All Saints (6603 Christopher Dr., 63129) at 10 am on Friday, June 21, 2019. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in his name to Hilljack House (5417 S. Grand., 63111, hilljackhouse.org).
