  3. It all started when Nikki and Alicia met each other in about sixth grade! They both became best of friends, which started a long time friendship! not only for them but for their parents. We began many years of memories , BBQ, Birthdays , Holidays, fishing at Susan Park! The list goes on. I will miss you so much Mike! RIP

  4. A man with a big heart. My prayers are with Kathy and her kids. I remember all the times we would take our kids to the neighborhood carnivals and one time Mike asked me “hey why aren’t your boys over there riding the rides” and I replied “I don’t have any money right now” then Mike pulled some cash out of his pocket and gave my boys money so they could go in the rides. I will never forget that. Mike was truly a great man, husband, father/grandfather and friend. ♥️

  5. Kathy, Nikki, Klohey and Joe,
My heart and prayers go out to you all.
I don’t think there is enough space here to say everything about this man!
What you saw is what you got!!
So sweet, funny, compassionate about the love for his family.
He was so fun to be around.
    My husband Dale and Mike
“Clicked” right away and friendship grew from there.
I have known Kathy for over 50 years. I have known Mike for over 40. He has never changed in those years.
I know we all wanted him to stay… but yet, out of the horrific pain. God chose for us!
They say God only takes the Best…I can now believe this to be true.
I will miss him so much.
I will also smile when I think of all the great times we shared.
    He would want that.
    RIP My dear friend.

  9. Loved Mike like a brother. We met around 1969-70 at Shady Valley fishing lake. Then we attended Southwest High together and remained good friends over 50 years. Recently we differed on political views but it was always fun sparring on the phone. RIP old friend and Godspeed. Mark O.
