age 95, born May 11, 1923, of St. Louis, MO, died Monday, November 19, 2018 at White’s Love and Care Residence in California. Elba worked at Famous-Bar for over 25 years. She started as a secretary and worked her way up to Department Manager in Women’s Wear. Elba was fun-loving and engaging. She enjoyed socializing, dancing, throwing dinner parties and she was an amazing cook.
Elba was preceded in death by her father Eugene Ashton Andrew, Sr. of St. Louis, MO; her mother Georgia Elba Angermueller of St. Louis, MO; her oldest daughter Sherian Penick of Franklin, Kentucky; her husband Perry Henry Roth of Menifee, California; and her brothers, Eugene Ashton Andrew of St. Louis, MO, George Herman Andrew of St. Louis, MO, and Arthur Adair Andrew, of Westcliff, CO.
She is survived by her brother Francis Gale Andrew of St. Louis, MO; her sister, Georgia Jean Andrew of St. Louis, MO.; her daughter Kathleen Roth of Honolulu, Hawaii; her step-daughters, Lydia Roth of Temecula, California and Twila Roth of Del Mar, California; her grandchildren Mary Ann Freeman of Adairville, Kentucky, and Sherri Lynn Clark of White House, Tennessee; and her great grandchildren Mason and Megan Freeman of Adairville, Kentucky, and Christian and Lauren Clark of White House, Tennessee.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to noon on December 15, 2018 at Kutis Funeral Home at 10151 Gravois Blvd., St Louis, MO 63123, followed by a memorial service at noon.
